HULL FC have extended their sponsorship deal with P&O Ferries for a further year. It means that P&O will the club’s main sponsor for a record-breaking sixth year. Begun in 2006 onboard the Pride of Hull ferry, the relationship has been beneficial for both the club and the ferry operator.

P&O have a long association with Hull and operate the ever-popular Hull to Rotterdam and Hull to Zeebrugge ferry services.

Hull FC chief executive James Rule said, “They have been an integral partner to the club over the last few years and have played a major role in the development of our organisation.”

Sarah Staughton, P&O Ferries’ head of marketing, added: “Everyone will be aware of the strong association that we have with the City of Hull and indeed Hull FC. This year we intend to be more involved with the club’s community programme, promoting the benefits of rugby to local schools.”
